Snoopcatcher

By engineering the adhesin RrgA from Streptococcus pneumoniae, researchers developed the peptide SnoopTag, which formed a spontaneous isopeptide bond to its protein partner SnoopCatcher with >99% yield and no cross-reaction to SpyTag/SpyCatcher.
